Christmas!

Eliza had a great Christmas! She loved opening all her presents from Santa on Christmas morning and then traveling up to Toledo and opening more! Her favorite present was the Baby Belle that she asked Santa for, she played with it all morning and the entire car ride!

Pumpkin Patch & Marathon

We took Eliza to the pumpkin patch this weekend. She had a great time picking out pumpkins, going on a hay ride, seeing the animals and going in the corn maze. Also, I realized I didn't put Chris's marathon video up, so here it is!

1st day of gymnastics!

Eliza started gymnastics class today! She did a good job listening to her teacher and had fun with her friend Layla in the class. In other Eliza related news, we are finally making some progress with potty training. She has been doing a lot of her tinkles in the potty, even one while we were at King's Island! She is definitely a big girl now! Here are a few of her videos:

Swiper's Sweepers

We went to King's Island again today with my mom. Eliza had a great time, but her favorite ride by far was Swiper's Sweepers. I think she liked it better going by herself this time! Here she is:

King's Island

We took Eliza to King's Island and she had a great time. We met our friends there with their two daughters, Claire and Molly. Eliza wasn't scared of any of the rides, as soon as they were done she wanted to do them all again! She is such a big girl! (Chris thought she looked like Bono with her pink sunglasses on)

Riding her bike

Eliza can officially ride her tricycle by herself now! We went out riding yesterday and she rode all the way down the block. Of course, when she got to the end she was tired of riding and Chris had to carry her bike back for her! Even though it is July, it was chilly out, hence the sweatshirt. Here is Eliza's first attempt at playing baseball. I thought she did a good job, even if she used the wrong end of the bat!

Big girl bed!!

Well today was Eliza's first day in her big girl bed! It seems like she has gotten 10 years older overnight. At first she wasn't to sure about getting into her bed, but after several stories and some songs, she was all settled in. After I left the room I could hear her get up and I could hear her reading her books to herself. After about 45 minutes, it was quiet, so I took a peak. She was sleeping sideways, but I was so proud of her going to sleep. She is such a big girl now!

Fun at the zoo

We went to the zoo today with Eliza's friend Alex and her mommy. The girls had a lot of fun riding in the wagon together and riding the merry-go-round. At the end of the video you can hear Eliza say "Yippee!" Here is a video:

Trying again!

Okay, I am going to try to keep this blog a little bit more current for family and friends. We are still getting settled into our new house, but things are coming along nicely. Eliza is loving her playroom and Sydney is no longer scared of the stairs!

Chris and I took a trip to Austin, TX in April to visits Chris and Katy. We had a great time (minus a 1 day bug) while we were there. Here are some pictures!
